iraq disinformation war

The New York Times has an article by Jeff Gerth on the secret U.S. military propaganda machine in Iraq. Hey, a little positive PR spin never hurt anybody.

DODO offered us a cool $1,000 to "plant" a friendly pre-election Iraq story here but our agent said it was a clear conflict of interest.

"What conflict?" we queried as mortar shells filled with depleted yellow cake uraniumn exploded overhead like rainbows after a picnic of Ready To Eat treats. "We gotta feed our families like everyone else."
